So, finally my new graphic novel FUTURE is out.
288 pages in multicolour with dozen of stories twisted and wringled into one wholesome. The book was meant to be about ‘the possible futures of mankind’ and ended up aiming to all the directions with multiple styles and perspectives.
The firs doc for the script was written 2012 and I later drew it for five years. The past year went with organizing the co-edition. So, it’s been a long ride until now. Though ‘future’ has taken wild random routes the past ten years and the stories inside have lived to the last minute, I’m reliefed this one is now out my hands… as from this point on it’s not anymore my property but yours – the reader – so enjoy.

Some samples on the new Future#9 magazine. This 2nd last issue of the series presents ‘The Exhibition’ of the bohemian bunch that the reader has seen building something through the back issues. Features horrible nightmare, our magician making his final decision, evening in Centra and a very smiley future. The wholesome is getting to its end, or does it?

I’ve been working with FUTURE indeed a long time already. What’s taken time is the fact that this is the first wholesome where I’m trying to combine different styles in one book. Basicly I’ve been learning new ways of doing and now using those to illustrate the different timelines, utopias and dystopias of the book. Anyway, it’s sort of mind-tricking net of stories that you are about to dive into. Excited to have it now in public for the first time.
